…Marie Stopes, a feminist who opened the first birth control clinic in Britain in 1921 as well as being Nazi sympathizer and a eugenicist who advocated that non-whites and the poor be sterilized, by adopting her image for a new set of stamps.

Stopes, a racist and an anti-Semite, campaigned for selective breeding to achieve racial purity, a passion she shared with Adolf Hitler in adoring letters and poems that she sent the leader of the Third Reich.

The feminist also attended the Nazi congress on population science in Berlin in 1935, while calling for the “compulsory sterilisation of the diseased, drunkards, or simply those of bad character.” Stopes acted on her appalling theories by concentrating her abortion clinics in poor areas so as to reduce the birth rate of the lower classes.

Stopes left most of her estate to the Eugenics Society, an organization that shared her passion for racial purity and still exists today under the new name The Galton Institute. The society has included members such as Charles Galton Darwin (grandson of the evolutionist) , Julian Huxley and Margaret Sanger.

Ominously, The Galton Institute website promotes its support and funding initiative for “the practical delivery of family planning facilities, especially in developing countries.” In other words, the same organization that once advocated sterilizing black people to achieve racial purity in the same vein as the Nazis is now bankrolling abortions of black babies in the third world.

Several prominent individuals have expressed their outrage that Stopes is to be included on the 50p stamp in Britain.

Chaplain to the Stock Exchange Peter Mullen, who is Rector of St Michael’s in the City of London, branded Stopes a ‘Nazi sympathiser’.

He said: ‘She campaigned to have the poor, the sick and people of mixed race sterilised.

‘Stopes extended her vile doctrines even to her own family. She cut her son Harry out of her will after he married a near- sighted woman – actually the daughter of Barnes Wallis, inventor of the bouncing bomb deployed by the Dambusters.

‘She planned to adopt a child herself-but stipulated that “the boy must be completely healthy, intelligent and uncircumcised”.

‘The managers of the Royal Mail deserve to be condemned for their honouring Marie Stopes.’

Anthony Ozimic of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children said: “Praising Marie Stopes as a woman of distinction should be as unacceptable as praising Adolf Hitler as a great leader.”

“Both promoted compulsory sterilisation and thereby the eventual elimination of society’s most vulnerable members to achieve what they called racial progress.”

Others are now campaigning to return any items of mail with the new stamp on them

BBC2: The Greed Game

April 2, 2008

As the credit crunch bites and a global economic crisis threatens, Robert Peston reveals how the super-rich have made their fortunes, and the rest of us are picking up the bill.

Makes for an interesting 58 minutes, and helps explain some of the changes and corruption we are seeing in the world, and why the gap between the have’s and have nots – and haves and have mores is widening… 6 days left on BBC iPlayer – sure it will show up on Youtube and elsewhere shortly…http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b009r2f3.shtml?q=greed+game&start=1&scope=iplayersearch&version_pid=b009r2cp

Wikileaks have released over 150 surpressed images. This is the tip of the iceberg, keep looking, keep publishing.

In the last week Wikileaks has released over 150 censored photos and videos of the Tibet uprising and has called on bloggers around the world to help drive the footage through the Chinese internet censorship regime — the so called “Great Firewall of China”

The transparency group’s move comes as a response to the the Chinese Public Security Bureau’s carte-blanche censorship of youtube, the BBC, CNN, the Guardian and other sites carrying video footage of the Tibetan people’s recent heroic stand against the inhumane Chinese occupation of Tibet.

Wikileaks has also placed the collection in two easy to use archives together with a HTML index page so they may be easily copied, placed on websites, cd’s, emailed across the internet as attachments and uploaded to peer to peer networks.

Censorship, like communism, seems like a reasonable enough idea to begin with. While ‘from each according to his ability and to each according to his need’ sounds unarguable, the world has learned that these words call forth a power elite to administer them with coercive force. Such elites are quick to define the needs of their own members as paramount. Similarly ‘from each mouth according to its ability and to each ear according to its need’ seems harmless enough, but history shows that censorship also requires an anointed class to define this “need” and to make violence against those who continue talking. Such power is quickly corrupted.

The first ingredient of civil society is the people’s right to know, because without such understanding no human being can meaningfully choose to support anything, let alone a political party. Knowledge is the driver of every political process, every constitution, every law and every regulation. The communication of knowledge is without salient analogue. It is living, unique and demands its rightful place at the summit of society. Since knowledge is the creator and regulator of all law, its position beyond law commands due respect.

James Madison, Thomas Jefferson and other Enlightenment framers of the US Bill of Rights understood this well when they began the First Amendment’s constitutional protections of speech and of the press with ‘Congress shall make no law….’.

As knowledge flows across the world it is time to sum great freedoms of every nation and not subtract or divide them. Let us then unite in common purpose for the surest way to protect the freedoms of any nation is to protect the freedoms of every nation.

35 FLASH VIDEOS OF TIBET PROTESTS http://wikileaks.cx/leak/tibet-protests-flash-video/index.html

Presumably this shit is OK. Am I allowed or will it upset someone?

What is it with all the `shit that `white people` do or love` articles lately?

I don’t do any (or much) of the shit mentioned in, specifically,

http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.wordpress.com/

So let’s just say – black people just love banging on about racism and slavery, eating watermelon and chicken, rice and peas, shooting each other and selling and buying crack cocaine in the pursuit of ridiculous cars and sparkly shit with which to adorn themselves  (oh and wearing gaudy ill-fitting clothing)… Is that racist? How about`beige people`? What do `they` love, whilst we are doing sweeping generalisations based on an individuals skin pigmentation, and not even cultural, racial or geographic origin. See `white people` come from all kinds of envirmonments, and as such do not conform to these retarded insular stereotypes any more than `black people` do. I mean, by all means discriminate and stereotype, but at least be specific to a subgroup or subculture, or geographic location….not something as utterly meaningless as skin colour.

What if you are black and have vitiligo….. are you `brown` or `white`? And what shit do you like then? Or if you are mixed race? (coffee coloured…)

My point is it’s not about the colour of your skin. It may well be fair enough to point out predelictions of specific cultures or races, but not of skin colours…

In traditional anthropological studies there are actually 5 races.

These are;
1) Mongoloid (Asian and American Indian)
2) Caucasoid (European)
3) Australoid (Australian and oceanic)
4) ******* (east African black)
5) Capoid (south African black)

The remaining peoples are mixtures or “mongrels” of the different races above. This theory was originally proposed by Ashley Montague and has been disputed for years, but has still withstood the test of time to a large extent. The biggest problem with this theory is that all races share 99.99+% of the same genetic materials which means that further division of race is largely subjective, and that the original 5 races were also probably just subjective descriptions as well. The above theory has been used by people in the past to support racism as well as to refute it. All in all the preponderance of evidence suggests that race is for now a subjective term. Furthermore, until DNA technology becomes even better, then there can be no better answer than Dr. Montague’.

Flames and indignant expressions of disapproval or rage are welcomed, I’m not really that interested TBH ;) Up next, `black people` and `beige people` in the news….

George Carlin

March 19, 2008

Along with Bill Hicks, Carlin is one of my favourites when it comes to stand up. Now almost 71 Years old! Let’s hope the miserable misanthropic old fucker can manage at least one more appearance in his life ;) Here’s a list of quotes from Carlin from his early performaces to more recent ones such as “Life is worth losing”…

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Capitalism tries for a delicate balance: It attempts to work things out so that everyone gets just enough stuff to keep them from getting violent and trying to take other people’s stuff.

I wanna live. I don’t wanna die. That’s the whole meaning of life: Not dying! I figured that shit out by myself in the third grade.

You can’t fight City Hall, but you can goddamn sure blow it up.

Honesty may be the best policy, but it’s important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy.

If it’s true that our species is alone in the universe, then I’d have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.

No one knows what’s next, but everybody does it.

There are 400,000 words in the English language, and there are seven you can’t say on television. What a ratio that is! 399,993 to 7. They must really be baaaad. They must be OUTRAGEOUS to be separated from a group that large. “All of you words over here, you seven….baaaad words.” That’s what they told us, right? …You know the seven, don’t ya? That you can’t say on TV? Shit, piss, fuck, cunt, cocksucker, motherfucker and tits.

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, “You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.”

The reason I talk to myself is because I’m the only one whose answers I accept.

Just when I discovered the meaning of life, they changed it.

Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer and burn and scream until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you and he needs money.

If it requires a uniform, it’s a worthless endeavor.

If you live long enough, sooner or later everybody you know has cancer.

The IQ and the life expectancy of the average American recently passed each other in opposite directions.

I knew a transsexual guy whose only ambition is to eat, drink, and be Mary.

I put a dollar in a change machine. Nothing changed.

By and large, language is a tool for concealing the truth.

Ever notice that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac?

Isn’t it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do “practice”?

I don’t like to think of laws as rules you have to follow, but more as suggestions.

I would never want to be a member of a group whose symbol was a man nailed to two pieces of wood.

So I say, “Live and let live.” That’s my motto. “Live and let live.” Anyone who can’t go along with that, take him outside and shoot the motherfucker. It’s a simple philosophy, but it’s always worked in our family.
Catholic — which I was until I reached the age of reason.

Once you leave the womb, conservatives don’t care about you until you reach military age. Then you’re just what they’re looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers.

“One thing leads to another”? Not always. Sometimes one thing leads to the same thing. Ask an addict.

Property is theft. Nobody “owns” anything. When you die, it all stays here.

The future will soon be a thing of the past.

The planet is fine. The people are fucked.
The real reason that we can’t have the Ten Commandments in a courthouse: You cannot post “Thou shalt not steal,” “Thou shalt not commit adultery,” and “Thou shalt not lie” in a building full of lawyers, judges, and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.

I think everyone should treat one another in a Christian manner. I will not, however, be responsible for the consequences.

Thou shalt keep thy religion to thyself.
Atheism is a non-prophet organization.

Cloud nine gets all the publicity, but cloud eight actually is cheaper, less crowded, and has a better view.

Have you ever noticed that the lawyer always smiles more than the client?

The reason they call it the American Dream is because you have to be asleep to believe it.

Most people with low self-esteem have earned it.

Most people work just hard enough not to get fired and get paid just enough money not to quit.

“No comment” is a comment.

Most of the time people feel okay. Probably it’s because at the moment they’re not actually dying.

So far, this is the oldest I’ve been.

When you think about it, attention-deficit order makes a lot of sense. In this country there isn’t a lot worth paying attention to.

I think I am, therefore, I am. I think.

If the cops didn’t see it, I didn’t do it!

Hooray for most things!

I don’t have a fear of heights. I do, however, have a fear of falling from heights.

May the forces of evil become confused on the way to your house.

I have as much authority as the Pope. I just don’t have as many people who believe it.

It isn’t fair: the caterpillar does all the work, and the butterfly gets all the glory.
